I am Alec and, yes, that beard is real. Very real. Like, my wife has never seen me without it, real.

I am a native of Virginia, but I think that my years on the West Coast have forced the last of the “y’all”s and “darling”s from my vocabulary.

I enjoy Seinfeld, cycling, BBQ, hiking, taking photos on my phone, and over-analyzing sports.

I live to change the world for the better by helping design, build, and share powerful new ideas.
